Vexle

Vexle is a daily geography game built around world flags. The main challenge gives the player the name of a country and asks them to recreate its flag from memory. There is no story, campaign, or character progression. The focus is on remembering flag colors, layouts, symbols, and proportions, then comparing the result with the real design. A new daily challenge gives all players the same country.

Drawing the Flag

In Draw mode, the player starts with a blank canvas and several tools. These include a brush, fill bucket, rectangle, circle, line, star, eraser, and undo. The player sketches the flag from memory and then reveals the official version. The game calculates a percentage score based mainly on color placement and overall layout, so large sections of the design matter more than tiny decorative details.

Modes and Challenges

Vexle includes several ways to play with flags:

·         Daily mode with one shared flag each day;

·         Practice mode with flags from around the world;

·         Build mode with six attempts to reconstruct a flag;

·         Draw Battle for multiplayer flag drawing;

·         Memory Flash, where the flag is shown briefly before drawing;

·         Archive for earlier daily challenges;

·         Infinite mode with repeated flag rounds.

Build mode uses a different mechanic from freehand drawing. The player chooses the flag layout and colors numbered regions. After each attempt, the game gives feedback showing whether a color is in the correct place, appears somewhere else on the flag, or does not belong at all. The player has six guesses to reconstruct the complete design. This mode works more like a deduction puzzle than a drawing challenge.

Scoring and Progress

In Draw mode, the finished image is compared with the real flag to produce a match percentage. The scoring system pays particular attention to whether the main color regions are in the correct places and whether the overall arrangement matches the original. Some versions also provide outline hints that trace important shapes without revealing their colors.

There are no traditional levels with enemies or missions. Progress comes from completing daily flags, improving scores, maintaining streaks, and playing additional modes. To play, the user studies the country name or briefly displayed flag, recreates the design with the available tools, submits the result, and then compares it with the official flag.
