Scrandle 2 is a food comparison game where the player chooses which of two real dishes received the higher community rating. Each round displays two food photos side by side, usually with details such as price, country, venue, or extras. There is no story, character progression, or campaign. The objective is to predict which dish was judged more favorably by other people rather than simply selecting the food the player personally prefers.

The standard Daily mode presents a sequence of food matchups. For every pair, the player studies both images and selects the dish they think has the higher percentage rating. After the choice is made, the real ratings are revealed and the game shows whether the prediction was correct. The result of each comparison contributes to the overall daily performance.
Scrandle 2 expands the basic comparison system with several modes and settings. The game includes:
· Daily mode with a fixed set of comparisons;
· Random mode for free play;
· Evil Mode with harder matchups;
· Mensa Mode for more difficult scrans;
· Safe Mode for practice;
· History for previous games and career results;
· Scran Level progression based on play and performance.
Random mode allows repeated comparisons outside the Daily game. Evil Mode makes the choices harder by using dishes with closer or less obvious ratings, while Mensa Mode adds another set of difficult food comparisons. Safe Mode can be used during practice to reduce the pressure of mistakes. The History section records previous results, allowing the player to review older games and track performance over time.
The main strategy is to judge how the wider community may have rated each dish. Price can be useful as a clue, but a cheaper meal can still beat a more expensive one if people considered it better value. Presentation, portion size, ingredients, and extras can also help when deciding between two options. The correct choice is always the dish with the higher existing rating.
There are no traditional levels, enemies, puzzles, or inventory systems. The player simply compares two dishes, selects one, checks the revealed ratings, and continues to the next matchup. Scrandle 2 keeps this same core mechanic across Daily, Random, Evil, Mensa, and other available modes while adding progression through statistics, history, and Scran Level.
