Krillion

Krillion is a trivia game where each question accepts several possible correct answers, but the score depends on how uncommon the chosen response is. A game contains seven questions covering different subjects, and the player types one answer instead of selecting from multiple-choice options. There is no story, character campaign, or traditional level progression. The objective is to finish all seven questions with the highest possible total by giving valid answers that other players are less likely to choose.

There is no story, character campaign, or traditional level progression. The objective is to finish all seven questions with the highest possible total by giving valid answers that other players are less likely to choose.

Answering Each Question

Every round begins with a three-second preview of the question. After that, the answer field opens and the player has 25 seconds to type one valid response. Questions describe a closed set, such as countries in a region, films in a series, clubs in a league, or other categories with a defined list of accepted answers. Once the answer is submitted, the game checks it and assigns a rarity tier.

Rarity and Scoring

Krillion uses six rarity tiers, and rarer answers are worth more points. During a game, the player has to:

·         read the category carefully;

·         think of one answer that belongs to the accepted set;

·         submit it within 25 seconds;

·         receive a rarity tier;

·         earn between 10 and 100 points for a valid response;

·         continue until all seven questions are complete.

The six tiers are Plankton, Too Clever, Schooler, Rare, Deep Cut, and Krillion. Their values range from 10 to 100 points. Every point is also converted into 10 metres of depth, so the maximum score of 700 points corresponds to 7,000 metres.

Game Modes

The main Daily Dive gives every player the same seven questions for that day. Krillion also includes numbered games that can be played in any order and themed packs built around subjects such as pop culture, movies and TV, sport, and geography. A separate battle mode lets several players answer the same seven questions at the same time.

The basic strategy is to avoid the first obvious answer when another correct option comes to mind. A very common response may receive only 10 points, while a less frequently chosen answer from the same category can earn 60, 85, or 100. There are no enemies, upgrades, inventories, or action mechanics. Progress within each game is measured only through the seven completed questions, the rarity of each response, total points, and the final depth reached.
